Our vision
We believe in God the Father, the creator of heaven and earth, who so loved the world that He sent His Son Jesus to save me and you. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. God is our Father when we believe in Jesus as our savior. We believe in the Holy Spirit of God, the third person of God, who has come to serve the church and lead church members to maturity. We don't want to limit the Holy Spirit, for He is God.
We believe in the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit. We believe that in the Bible we find what God has to say to us and we want to encourage people to read, learn and meditate on the word. It is very important to us to be a place in the city where the Lord is believed and worshipped. Music and singing play an important role in our vision because we believe that God's Spirit is invited when we praise and praise and worship Him. We want to be a place where people find hope and peace in life. We believe that God changes people so that they are redeemed and liberated from all that burdens and hinders them.

Our dream:
Our desire is to become a great church where many will find Christ as their savior, where people can grow up in the faith and become disciples of Jesus. We desire to be a community where people help and love each other, accept and build each other up. We want to be a multicultural community where everyone is valued. We follow the mission statement of Jesus Christ: Matthew 28: 18b – 20 “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. So go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to keep all that I have commanded you.”
Our mission:
We want to be a municipality that has an impact on the city. We want to spend enough time in prayer that God will act and many people in this city will want to come to faith through the work of the Holy Spirit. We want to reach unbelievers with the gospel. We want to help people in need and offer pastoral care to those who need it.
Praise binds people together and exalts the Lord God. Worship brings people into the Presence of God, sets their eyes on Jesus, brings the power of the Holy Ghost.
Our strategy:
We become a church with impact by holding worship services on Sunday mornings, through prayer services and training. We train people and encourage people to hold circle evenings so that other people can join a group where they feel at home. These are home circles where non-believers can also be invited to informal and hospitable gatherings. We want to organize activities for children so that they will get in touch with the gospel and we will also get in touch with their relatives. We want to be around with love, passion and compassion. We want to build relationships with the people who live in our neighborhood in Haarlem so that they can get to know Jesus Christ.
The first municipality from acts as a model:
What appeals to us in the first Christian congregation is the mutual communion, persistent prayer, unity and evangelism and the powerful working of God's Holy Spirit. We believe in baptism by immersion after conversion as a personal decision for the Lord Jesus.
